TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -APPLESHAM WAY, PORTSLADE
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 16 September 2026 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-The temporary closure of Applesham Way, Portslade, from the junction with Old Shoreham Road to the junction with Melrose Avenue.
2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out Gas Mains Replacement works.
3. Pedestrian access willbe maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
4. This Order comes into force on 21 September 2026 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 26 October 2026.
