(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because the replacement of a Kiosk is being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park along Wade Ln, Leeds in the Little London and Woodhouse Ward, adjacent to Pure Gym on approach to Merrion Way. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure is not required. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Various Events at Testbed Event Venue Butterley Street, Leeds

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the likelihood of danger arising to the public due to the holding of events at the Testbed Event Venue on Hunslet Lane; Leeds City Council as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, intends (in not less than 7 days) under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to make an Order introducing temporary traffic restrictions; The effect of the Order is that 1. No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in a southerly direction along Butterley St, from its jct with Hunslet Ln for a distance of 250m at any time when a temporary one-way restriction is in place; during the event dates and periods specified in the Schedule below. (Signed local diversions will be in operation) 2. No person shall cause any vehicle to park or be in any of those parking bays situated on Butterley St, running from a point 170 metres south of Hunslet Rd, for a distance of 60m along the eastern carriageway edge; during the event dates and periods specified in the Schedule below.
