ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure

Court Close, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Court Close, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Court Close, Twickenham from outside number 1 to the junction with Court Close Avenue.

3. The order will come into effect 28 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 28 September to 30 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Elfin Grove, Teddington.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Elfin Grove, Teddington from a point rear of number 47 Broad Street to the boundary wall of number 1 Elfin Grove.

3. The order will come into effect 21 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 21 September to 25 September 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate external decoration works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Ferry Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Ferry Road, Twickenham from the junction with Riverside to the junction with Little Ferry Road.

3. The order will come into effect 28 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 28 September to 06 November 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be Northbound via Little Ferry Road, Lebanon Park and southbound Via Little Ferry Road.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Towpath Closure

Adjacent to Ham Street Car Park,

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Environment Agency works at Teddington Lock they have made a temporary Notice, the effect of which is to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic and pedestrians on a length of the towpath along the River Thames Adjacent to Ham Street Car Park.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall enter or proceed on the riverside towpath from a point at the north-west corner of Ham street car park westwards for a distance of 30 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 21 September 2026 and stay in force for 6 months, the closures will be in place on Mondays to Fridays only and likely to apply for four hours at any one time.

4. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided around the compound.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used, or any person in connection with the execution of the said works;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used, or any person needing access for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Parke Road & Lowther Road, Barnes.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Parke Road at the junction with Suffolk Road side of number 35 Suffolk Road from 28 September to 06 October 2026 and Lowther Road at the junction with Suffolk Road side of number 65 Suffolk Road from 06 October to 14 October 2026.

3. The order will come into effect 28 September 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 28 September to 14 October 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Berkely Road, Cumberland Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
