The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, The Wharfage, Tontine Hill, High Street, Buildwas Road, Madeley Road, Waterloo Street and Church Hill, Ironbridge (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst survey works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 29/9/26 between the hours of 23:00 and 5:00. The following roads are affected: The Wharfage, Ironbridge in its entirety. Tontine Hill, Ironbridge in its entirety. High Street, Ironbridge in its entirety. Buildwas Road, Ironbridge from its jcn with The Wharfage to its jcn with Station Rd. Madeley Road, Ironbridge from its jcn with High St for approx. 100m in an easterly direction. Waterloo Street, Ironbridge from its jcn with High St for approx. 250m in a south easterly direction. Church Hill, Ironbridge from its jcn with High St for approx. 100m in a north westerly direction. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 8/10/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
