HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn Bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 1af Hydref 2026 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau ar 1af Hydref 2026, gan weithio rhwng 09:30-15:30.

2. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i wneud gwaith ceblau a rhigolau mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro ran o Lôn y Capel, Pwllmeurig, Sir Fynwy, o'r gyffordd â Chlos y Capel i'r chyffordd Orchid Meadow. Bydd Gweithwyr Traffig yn bresennol ar y safle i gynorthwyo gyda mynd i mewn ac allan tra bydd y ffordd ar gau.

4. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: Lôn y Capel, Heol Matharn, A48 ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Lôn y Capel, Pwllmeurig, Sir Fynwy 2026.

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 1st October 2026 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 1st October 2026, operating between 09:30-15:30.

2. The order is necessary for cabling and gully works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.

3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily close a section of Chapel Lane, Pwllmeyric, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Chapel Close to its junction Orchid Meadow. Traffic Operatives will be present on site to assist with access/egress whilst the road is closed.

4. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- Chapel Lane, Mathern Road, A48 and vice versa.

5. This order may be cited as the Chapel Lane, Pwllmeyric, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
