C56B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C56B Auchiries-Hill of Dens-Faichfield Road - 21.09.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate on 21.09.26 for 12 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the C56B Auchiries-Hill of Dens-Faichfield Road from the A950 to the A90. This is a rolling programme of works at a number of sites. It is not possible to provide exact dates for each site.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared to allow safe passage through the event.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety owing to patching works. An alternative route is available via the A950, A90 and vice versa.
