London Borough of Redbridge

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1)

Pershore Close

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

1. The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate a new water connection, it intends to make an Order the effect of which would temporarily prohibit traffic in Pershore Close.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, Pershore Close would be closed outside Nos. 2 to 5 Pershore Close.

4. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

5. The Order would come into operation on the 21st September 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

6. Works would be expected to commence on Monday the 21st September (8:00) and would be expected to finish on 29th September (18:00). The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
