NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Bedwell Hey Lane, Witchford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21293

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bedwell Hey Lane, Witchford as lies between Main Street & Witchford Bridleway 4. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate cracksealing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 5/10 & 6/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Barway, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21287

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Barway, Soham as lies between Laburnum House & Fenfields. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 5/10 & 9/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Barway Road, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21295

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Barway Road, Soham as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 21:40hrs 10/10 & 04:15hrs 12/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Ely Bridleway 25, Ely Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-21184

Is to stop any vehicle, cyclist, pedestrian & equestrian from proceeding along Ely Bridleway 25, Ely as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The alternative route for vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians & equestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 22:00hrs 9/10 & 06:00hrs 12/10; 22:00hrs 16/10 & 06:00hrs 19/10; 22:00hrs 24/10 & 10:00hrs 25/10; 22:00hrs 30/10 & 06:00hrs 2/11; 22:00hrs 28/11 & 10:00hrs 29/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Eye Hill Drove, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20253

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Eye Hill Drove, Soham as lies between Styx & Boa Vista. The alternative route for vehicles is via Barcham Rd; A142 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 19/10 & 23/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Main Drove, Little Downham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21409

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Main Drove, Little Downham as lies between Quaker Farm & Sixth Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Main Drove; Downham Common; O Furlong Drove; Pymoor Ln; B1411; Pymoor Siding; Short Drove & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical service diversion & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 26/10 & 30/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Hasse Road, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21377

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hasse Road, Soham as lies between Little Hasse Drove & Long Dolver Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Hasse Rd; Northfield Rd; A142 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 09:00hrs & 16:00hrs 8/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Ely Footpath 71, Ely Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-21350

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Ely Footpath 71, Ely as lies between No. 69a & Northwold. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate communication pipe repair & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 16/10 & 20/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The Leys, Burwell Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-21349

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along The Leys, Burwell as lies between Newnham Lane & rear No. 9 Poplars Close. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate stop tap replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 8/10 & 12/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Beild Drove, Little Downham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21336

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Beild Drove, Little Downham as lies between Beild Drove Farm & Coffue Drove. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate remedial defect repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 13/10 & 15/10/26 when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Chapel Lane, Wicken Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21320

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Chapel Lane, Wicken as lies between Augustine Place & Lower Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Chapel Ln; A1123; Butts Ln; Dury Ln & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 15/10 & 19/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Lynn Rd; Ely Rd, Littleport; Grange Ln; A10; B1411; Egremont St, Ely & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 21:00hrs 5/10 & 06:00hrs 12/10; 21:00hrs 16/10 & 06:00hrs 19/10; 21:00hrs 24/10 & 06:00hrs 25/10; 21:00hrs 30/10 & 06:00hrs 2/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Angel Drove, Ely as lies between The Dock & Station Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Angel Drove; A142; Cambridge Rd C315; St Marys St; B1382; Broad St; Station Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate section 278 & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 12/10 & 13/11/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

School Lane, Chittering Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21387

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along School Lane, Chittering as lies between Orchard Farm & Windsmoor. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 09:00hrs & 17:00hrs 7/10 to 8/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Camel Road C132, Littleport Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21537

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Camel Road C132, Littleport as lies between Nos. 30 & 42. The alternative route for vehicles is via Camel Rd C132; A10; Wisbech Rd C319 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 19/10 & 21/10/26 when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Ely Road B1382, Queen Adelaide Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21183

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 9/10/26 & will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Clarks Drove, Soham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21294

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Clarks Drove, Soham as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 22:30hrs 7/10 & 05:00hrs 8/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Various Roads, East Cambridgeshire Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-21438

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate crack sealing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7/10/26 & will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Schedule 1 – Road Closures

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
