(ENGLEFIELD ROAD, THEALE) (NO RIGHT TURN) ORDER 20[ ]
WEST BERKSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES to make an order under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to 2(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which is to prohibit all motor vehicles and pedal cycles from turning right from Englefield Road, Theale into Theale C of E Primary School.
The order will contain an exemption in respect of police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles being driven in an emergency.
Copies of the draft order, explanatory statement and map can be inspected during the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays at the offices of West Berkshire District Council (at main reception on the Ground Floor) Council Offices Market Street Newbury RG14 5LD and on the Council’s Website

Objections and other representations to the proposal should be submitted via the online survey (link/QR code above, which will go live at 9am Thursday 17th September 2026) or sent in writing to the undersigned, quoting reference TM/4798/003 by no later than Friday 9th October 2026. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
