Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on 07/09/2026, as detailed below:
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Road running between Ipsden Heath Farm and Scots Farm, Ipsden, Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
Description of Works: Service pipe repair being carried out by THAMES WATER.
Duration: Starting on 21/09/2026 00:00
The anticipated completion date is 23/09/2026 23:59 (inclusive)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via Kit Lane, Unnamed – Single Carriageway and vice versa.

Location: High Street, Goring, Reading, Oxfordshire. From the junction with Wallingford Road to the junction with Thames Road.
Description of Works: Gas mains replacement works being carried out by I&G CONTRACTORS.

The anticipated completion date is 02/04/2027 23:59 (inclusive)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months for roads, or 6 months for other public rights of way).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via Wallingford Road, Port Way, Nosworthy Way, Reading Road, Road Running Through Moulsford, Wallingford Road, High Street and vice versa.
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Goring on Thames, Cleeve Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 7 September 2026
Coming into force: 28 September 2026
This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works in three phases which are anticipated to be completed 12 February 2027. This is a 24 hour daily road closure. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Cleeve Road from the junction of Mill Road to outside No.21. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians. The alternative route for traffic is via Mill Road – Wallingford Road – High Street. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
