(Footpath 23, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close footpath 23, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Frithwood Lane northeast for approximately 660 metres.

Diversion route: alternative route retained within the development site with Heras fencing. From Frithwood Lane to footpath 23 south of Foxleigh Close.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 October 2026 to 01 April 2027 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public while a new development is built.

The Order will come into effect on 01 October 2026 may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.56) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, and Parts IV and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)

To Remove: 17 metres of ‘Zigzags’ and Extend: ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Restrictions.

Road Description
A129 Southend Road South Side: From a point approximately 25 metres east of the extended eastern kerb line of Grange Road, east for approximately 18 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into ‘The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting map tile: TQ680 932 Revision 0 to Revision 1.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Castledon Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Elizabeth Drive for a distance of approximately 430m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA4507-436RCSB – Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Falkenham End, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 45m north east of its junction with Falkenham Rise for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC31100D1141308-02 – Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rosebay Avenue, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Buttercup Close to its junctions with Perry Street Roundabout a distance of approximately 50m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768351013 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while manhole cover and frame replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coxes Farm Road, Great Burstead and South Green in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Outwood Farm Road to its junction with Southend Road, a distance of approximately 1325m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405258 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mucking Hall Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Barling Road for a distance of approximately 805m in a north westerly then northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405539A – Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of Tye Common Road, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wiggins Lane for a distance of approximately 495m in a south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Wiggins Lane, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with First Avenue to its junction with Tye Common Road a distance of approximately 95m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 1st October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311012WGQP5G0B/BC311013WGQP5G0B – Openreach). (Tidworth Avenue, Runwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tidworth Avenue, Runwell in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Church End Lane for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2406572 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.7) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. 1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule.
