CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL 

(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment Order No 53) 2026 

Proposed changes to existing Residents Parking, Caerphilly 

NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council (the'Council') in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the'1984 Act') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (the'2004'Act) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act propose to make an Order the effect of which is to amend the Caerphilly County Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 by the: 

Change existing double yellow lines (DYLs) to residents permit holders only bays Mon - Sat 8am - 8pm 

• White Street on its western side from the common boundary of No 28/30 in a northerly direction to the common boundary of Nos 32/34, a distance of approx. 9m. 

• Broomfield Street, to the side of No. 7 Bartlett Street from a point approx. 10m north of its junction with Bartlett Street in northerly direction for a distance of approx. 5m. 

• Van Road on its northern side from a point approx. 5m east of its junction with East View (outside No 8) in an easterly direction to the existing residents parking bay, a distance of approx. 9m. 

• Van Road on its northerly side from a point approx. 5m west of its junction with Southern Street (outside No 68) in a westerly direction to the existing residents parking bay, a distance of approx. 4m. 

• Bradford Street on its western side from a point approx. 5m south of its junction with Stockland Street (outside No 52) in a southerly direction to the existing residents parking bay, a distance of approx. 5m. 

• Ludlow Street on its eastern side from a point approx. 5m south of its junction with Pentrebane Street (outside No 19) in a southerly direction to the existing residents parking bay, a distance of approx. 5m. 

Change existing Disabled parking Mon - Sat 8am -6pm to Resident permit holders only Mon - Sat 8am - 8pm
 • Stockland Street on its northern side from the common boundary of Nos 7 / 9 Stockland Street in an easterly direction for a distance of approx. 23m. 

Change existing Disabled badge holders only Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 3 hours No return within 2 hours to Disabled badge holders only 
• Stockland Street on its northern side from the existing DYLs to the eastern boundary of No 1 Stockland Street in a westerly direction for a distance of approx. 5m. 

Change existing Disabled badge holders only Mon-Sat 8am-6pm to Disabled badge holders only 
• Stockland Street on its northern side from the existing DYLs to the western boundary of No 9 Stockland Street in an easterly direction to the eastern boundary of No 9 Stockland Street, a distance of approx. 6m. 

Change existing no restrictions to Resident permit parking only Mon -Sat 8am - 8pm  
• East View on its northwestern side from the existing residents parking bay outside the common boundary of Nos 7/8 in a northeasterly direction to the existing DYLs, approximately 21m. 

• Lawrence Street on its southeastern side between 29 and 37, a distance of approx. 23m. 

Change existing shared limited waiting and resident permit parking only bays to shared limited waiting bays 1 hour no return within 2 hours and resident permit  parking only Mon -Sat 8am - 8pm 
• Broomfield Street on its western side from a point 8m south if its junction with Windsor Street in a southerly direction fora distance of approximately 15m. 

• Broomfield Street on its eastern side outside Nos 19 to 29, a distance of approximately 30m. 

• Bartlett Street on its northern side between Nos 45 and 63, a distance of approximately 44m. 

• Bartlett Street on its northern side on the common boundary of no. 73 and 75 in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 19m. 

• Goodrich street on its eastern side between 3 and 39, a distance of approximately 102m. 

• White Street on its western side 12 north of its junction with Bartlett Street in a northerly direction fora distance of approx. 12m. 

• Windsor Street on its southern side between Nos 9 and 18, a distance of approximately 49m. 

• Windsor Street on its southern side between Nos 3 and 7, a distance of approximately 25m.

• St Fagans Street on its northern side between Nos 1 and 21, a distance of approximately 53m. 

• St Fagans Street on its northern side from the common boundary of no. 25/27 in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 82m. 

• Stockland Street on its northern side from a point 5m east of its junction with Bradford Street (side of no. 49) in and easterly direction for a distance of approximately 17m. 

• Stockland Street on its northern side from a point 3m west of its junction with Bradford Street (side of no.54) in a westerly direction fora distance of approximately 18m. 

• Stockland street on its northern side from a point 13m east of its junction with Ludlow Street (side of no.43) in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 17m. 

• Florence grove on its northern side 11 m west of its junction with Ludlow Street (no 50) in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 21 m. 

• Bradford Street on its eastern side between Nos 49 an 59, a distance of approximately 25m.

• Claude Road on its northern side between Nos 2 and 28, a distance of approximately 72m. 

• Claude Road on its northern and western side outside Nos 34 to 92, a distance of approximately 99m. 

• Claude Road on its southern side outside no. 130 and 132, a distance of approximately 11m. 

• Claude road on its southern side 17m west from the junction to Castle view residential home in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 18m. 

• Claude Road on its northern side between Nos 85 and 95, a distance of approximately 35m. 

• Pentrebane Street on its northern side 5m east of its junction with Ludlow Street (no. 21) in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 36m. 

• Pentrebane Street on its northern side 6m west of its junction with Bradford Street, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 15m.
