ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED)

PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 44 (PART) KINVER PARISH

TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 10/9/26 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any users from proceeding along the section of Public Bridleway No. 44 Kinver Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 36 Kinver Parish for approximately 552 metres in a generally easterly direction, to its junction with Public Footpath No. 43 Kinver Parish.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to forestry works taking place at Kingsford Forest Park, on behalf of the National Trust.

No alternative route is available.

A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 15/9/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The bridleway will be closed for two separate closure periods of approximately 2 weeks each within this duration. The dates will depend on operational factors.
