Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Andrews Farm Lane, Great Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Mill End Green Road for a distance of approximately 485m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311004WH2W019M – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 24th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Breach Lane, Great Easton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Breach Lane Great Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Gallows Green Road to its junction with Mill End Green Road a distance of approximately 1100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311002WH2W019M – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Gallows Green Road, B184, Mill End Green Road and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Collier Street/Green Hill, Hatfield Broad Oak in the District of Uttlesford, from the junction with Wood Row for a distance of approximately 780m in southerly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2408934/EP20153096614 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Hatfield Forest Road, Bush End, B183, Greenhill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mill End Green Road, Great Easton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close that length of Mill End Green Road, Great Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Andrews Farm Lane for a distance of approximately 1020m in a north easterly then south easterly direction.
- To temporarily close that length of Mill End Green Road, Great Easton in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Dunmow Road to its junction with Breach Lane a distance of approximately 990m.
These closures are scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311003WH2W019M/ BC311006WH2W019M – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. These closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Stansted Road, Stansted Mountfitchet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stansted Road, Stansted Mountfitchet in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 270m north east its junction with Lower Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WH3R0C0N – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via B1051, B184, B1052, B1383, B1051 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 24th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Frenches Green Road, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frenches Green Road, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Bannister Green to its junction with Stevens Lane a distance of approximately 195m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405862 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Frenches Green Road, Crick Green Road, Barthmollow Green Lane, School Road, School Lane, New Road, Gore Road, The Street, Dunmow Road, B1256, B1417, Watch House Green, Rayne Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 10th September 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
