Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 11 September 2026, Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting in the entire length of New Road (D3147) Staines. This Order is required to enable Lanes Group PLC to facilitate sewer cleaning and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 September 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary waiting restriction will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Shepherds Hill (D4020) Guildford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 16 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the southern junction of Shepherds Hill (D4020) Guildford as extends from its junction with (A322) Worplesdon Road and for a distance of 60 metres in a westerly direction along Shepherds Hill. 

Alternative Route: (1) Shepherds Hill, Fentum Road, Northway, (A323) Aldershot Road, and (A322) Worplesdon Road; (2) Shepherds Hill, (A322) Worplesdon Road, Shepherds Lane, Northway, and Fentum Road. This Order is required to facilitate lining works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 nights, between the hours of 8pm and 6am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Almners Road (D3005) Chertsey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 16 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the Almners Road (D3005) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (D3003) Former Lyne Crossing Road to its junction with (C127) Hardwick Lane. 

Alternative Route: Hardwick Lane, Lyne Crossing Road, Lyne Lane, (B389) Green Road, (B388) Thorpe Road, (A320) Staines Road, St Anns Road, and Ruxbury Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate joint replacement works for, or on behalf of Octavius infrastructure Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 20 nights, between the hours of 8pm and 5am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 September 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Longcross Road (B386) Chertsey and

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

On 16 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Longcross Road (B386) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (X96098) Tanglewood Close to its junction with (D3017) Kitsmead Lane. 

Alternative Route: (B386) Longcross Road, (B386) Holloway Hill, (A320) Guildford Road, (A319) Chobham Road, (A319) Chertsey Road, (B383) Windsor Road, (B386) Chertsey Road, and (B386) Longcross Road, or this route in reverse; (b) Green Lane (C127) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (D3030) Bittams Lane to its junction with (D3021) Elm Tree Close. 

Alternative Route: Bittams Lane, Little Green Lane, (A320) Guildford Road, and Green Lane, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate new electrical connection works and underground service cabling works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 September 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, via road plates if required. All other vehicular traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Staines Road West (A308) Sunbury On Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn Order 2026

On 16 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles that are travelling eastbound on Staines Road West (A308) Sunbury On Thames from turning right into (D6245) Escot Road. Alternative Route: (A308) Staines Road West, (A308) Staines Road East, (A308) Staines Road, West, and Escot Road. 

This temporary traffic Order is required to facilitate a safe working zone while works are in progress for a new pedestrian crossing and/or any other associated works to be carried out for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 weeks, and completed as soon as possible, within the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary prohibition, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

The above restriction shall not apply to vehicles being used in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restrictions or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of the Police.

Vicarage Road (B388) Egham
Temporary One-Way Traffic Order 2026

On 16 September 2026 Surrey County Council made the abovementioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Vicarage Road (B388) Egham that is crossed by the Pooley Green Level Crossing and for a distance of 20 metres to either side. 

Alternative Route – Vicarage Road; New Wickham Lane; Stroude Road; Manor Crofts Road; Station Road; Church Road; High Street; and Vicarage Road. 

This 18-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 29 September 2026 is required to facilitate signalling works and/or telecoms maintenance works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Network Rail within the length of road described in this notice. 

These works are anticipated to be as soon as possible over 1 night between the hours of 11.30pm and 5.30am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via operatives on site, all other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Matham Road (D6915) East Molesey
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the westernmost junction of Matham Road (D6915) East Molesey as extends from its junction with (B369) Walton Road to a point in line with the common boundary between property No.46 and No.48 Matham Road. 

Alternative Route: (1) Matham Road and (B369) Walton Road; (2) St Marys Road, Bell Road, Spencer Road, and (B369) Walton Road. This Order is required to facilitate installation of service cabling works for, or on behalf of UKPN. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if required, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Clay Lane (C14) Jacobs Well
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Clay Lane (C14) Jacobs Well as extends from its junction with (A320) Woking Road to its junction with (D636) Queenhythe Road. 

Alternative Route: Clay Lane, Jacobs Well Road, and (A320) Woking Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate mains water connection works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Middle Street Footpath (C46) Shere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from entering or proceeding on foot or by any other means in that length of Middle Street Footpath (C46), Shere as extends from its junction with (D226) Lower Street and for a distance of 40 metres in a northerly direction. 

Alternative Route for Pedestrians: Middle Street. This Order is required to facilitate refurbishment works to the toilet block situated along Middle Street for, or on behalf of Healthmatic Ltd. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 9 weeks, between the hours of 7.30and 6pm, during the 6-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access on foot or by any other means, and all traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Trunley Heath Road (D203) Bramley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Trunley Heath Road (D203) Bramley as extends from its junction with (A281) Horsham Road and for a distance of 100 metres in a south westerly direction along Trunley Heath Road. 

Alternative Route: Trunley Heath Road, Unstead Lane, Foxburrow Hill Road, and (A281) Horsham Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 30 days, between the hours of 7am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Effingham Common Road (C43) Effingham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Effingham Common Road (C43) Effingham; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2025” insofar as it affects the length of road described in part (a) of this Notice. 

Alternative Route: Forest Road, (A246) Guildford Road, and The Street, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate major maintenance works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 days, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for residents and emergency service vehicles will be maintained when and if it is safe to do so, 

access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Egham By-Pass (A30) Egham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the dedicated right-hand lane of Egham By-Pass (A30) Egham heading towards “(A320) Chertsey and Thorpe Park” and for a distance of 70 metres to its junction with (A308) The Glanty. Alternative Route: (A30) Egham By-Pass, and (A308) The Glanty. 

This Order is required to facilitate carriageway pre-patching, and surface dressing works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days in several phases and will be completed as soon as possible within the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for emergency services vehicles will be maintained at all times. 

Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained via the banksmen on site, when safe to do so. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Rushett Common (C36) Bramley and
Run Common (C36) Shamley Green
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
(Heavy Commercial Vehicles) 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit heavy commercial vehicles exceeding 10 Tonnes from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Rushett Common (C36) Bramley as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Rushett Farm” to its junction with (C36) Run Common; (b) Run Common (C36) Shamley Green as extends from its junction with (C36) Rushett Common to its junction with the access to the property known as “Slaughters Cottage”. 

This Order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road. It is anticipated that the remedial works will be carried out over 4 months, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 16 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary prohibition, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

The prohibition will not apply in relation to vehicles requiring access to premises or land in or adjacent to the roads mentioned including access for the purpose of loading and unloading. 

The restriction also does not apply to buses, vehicles used by the emergency services or for the purposes of essential services, works and maintenance, refuse collection, for local authority or agricultural purposes and vehicles proceeding in accordance with directions given by Surrey Police, when requiring access to the said lengths of roads. 

Alternative Route for all vehicles, including emergency vehicles: Rushett Common, (A281) Horsham Common, (A281) Horsham Road, (B2130) Elmbridge Road, (B2128) The Common, (B2128) Guildford Road, and Run Common, or this route in reverse.

Hurst Lane (D6936) East Molesey Speer Road (D6964) Thames
Ditton and Warwick Road (D6964) Thames Ditton
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting in:- 1. that length of Hurst Lane (D6936) East Molesey as extends from its junction with Vine Road (D6936) to its junction with Dennis Road 2. that length of Speer Road (D6964) Thames Ditton as extends from its junction with Summer Road (C160) to common boundary of 64 and 62 Speer Road and 3. the entire length of Warwick Road (D6964) Thames Ditton.

This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026 in 3 phases between the hours of 7.00am and 4.00pm. Phase 1 on Hurst Lane is anticipated to commence on 12 October 2026 for 1 month. 

Phase 2 on Warwick Road is anticipated to commence on 16 November 2026 for 3 weeks. Phase 3 on Speer Road is anticipated to commence on 30 November 2026 for 1 month. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary waiting restrictions, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Guileshill Lane (C38) Ockham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Guileshill Lane (C38) Ockham as extends from its junction with Ockham Road North (B2039) to a point 30 metres south of this junction.

Alternative route – B2039 (Ockham Road North and Portsmouth Road), B2215 (Portsmouth Road and High Street) and Rose Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to facilitate water mains repairs and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 October 2026 for 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 4.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained to All Saints Church. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times.

Ockham Road North (B2039) Ockham, West Horsley and East Horsley and Ockham Road South (B2039) East Horsley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ockham Road North (B2039) Ockham, West Horsley and East Horsley and Ockham Road South (B2039) East Horsley as extends from its junction with Ockham Lane (C38) to its junction with Forest Road (C42).

Alternative route – B2039 (Ockham Road South), A246 (Guildford Road and Epsom Road), A247 (The Street and Clandon Road), B2215 (Portsmouth Road, High Street and Portsmouth Road) and B2039 (Ockham Road North), or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. 

Access for cyclists will not be maintained and cyclists will be required to follow the signed diversion route. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

Foxburrow Hill Road (D202) Bramley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Foxburrow Hill Road (D202) Bramley.

Alternative route – A281 (Horsham Road), Snowdenham Lane and Iron Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. 

Access for cyclists will not be maintained and cyclists will be required to follow the signed diversion route. Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Foxburrow Hill Road (D202) Bramley.

Alternative route – A281 (Horsham Road), Snowdenham Lane and Iron Lane, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained at all times. Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. 

Access for cyclists will not be maintained and cyclists will be required to follow the signed diversion route. D3260 Service Road Fronting 5 to 47 School Road, Ashford
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D3260 Service Road Fronting 5 to 47 School Road, Ashford. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out water mains maintenance works and reinstatement in D3260 Service Road Fronting 5 to 47 School Road, Ashford, between the north-eastern property boundary of “No.19 Service Road Fronting 5 to 47 School Road”, and the south-eastern property boundary of “No.23 Service Road Fronting 5 to 47 School Road. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. No sole access to any property will be affected. 

Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times to the point of works via the alternative route: – D3260 Service Road Fronting 5 to 47 School Road and B378 School Road.

D6819 Couchmore Avenue, Esher
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D6819 Couchmore Avenue, Esher that extends from its junction with A307 Portsmouth Road, to its junction with D6819 Macaulay Avenue. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out installation of a new bridge deck and/or associated resurfacing and road markings and/ or maintenance works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm from Monday to Friday, and from 8am to 4pm at weekends within 12 weeks of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route: – Couchmore Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, Kingston Bypass, Portsmouth Road. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

Hound House Road (C46) Shere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Hound House Road (C46) Shere as extends from its junction with (X46) Hound House Road Access to Knowle Farm and Knowle Grange to its junction with the access to the property known as “Bentley Copse Activity Centre”. Hound House Road; Sandy Lane; Shere Heath Road; Park Road; Brook Hill; August Lane; Farley Heath Road; Woodhill Lane; Stroud Lane; Guildford Road; Smithwood Common Road; Mannings Hill; Amlets Lane; Barhatch Lane; Horseblock Hollow; Windmill Plain; and Hound House Road. 

This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 15 October 2026 is required to facilitate tree and vegetation clearance works and/ or overhead electrical safety works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of UK Power Networks within the length of road described in this notice. The works in are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 4pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists, dismounted equestrians and the emergency services will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including residents will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
