What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) - Temporary Waiting And Loading Restrictions Avondale Avenue EN5

THE BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate sewer rehabilitation works, they intend to make an Order which will temporarily introduce a length of ‘at any time’ waiting and loading restrictions on both sides of Avondale Avenue EN5 between its junction with Church Hill Road and Derwent Avenue, while the works take place.

The works will commence in two phases, on Thursday 1st October 2026 and Tuesday 13th October 2026 and is expected to last for 2 days in total (1 day on each phase).

The alternative route for motorists will be via: Connaught Avenue and Derwent Avenue.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform.
