East Lothian Council gives notice that it intends to make an Order under Section 9 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act to amend the times where vehicles are prohibited from driving, during school term times, on Neilson Park Road, Victoria Road and Wemyss Place, Haddington. A copy of the proposed Order, Schedule, plans showing the extent of the restrictions and the statement of reasons for making the Order can be viewed on the council's website at www.eastlothian.gov.uk and on www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
These documents are available for inspection for the period from Monday 21 September to Friday 16 October 2026
Any person may before expiry of the period noted above object to the making of the Order.
Any objection must be in writing and specify the grounds thereof and should be addressed to: Service manager, Road Services, Penston House, Macmerry Industrial Estate, Macmerry, EH33 1EX or email roadsconsultation@eastlothian.gov.uk
