CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL 

(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 (Amendment Order No 53) 2026 

Proposed changes to existing Residents Parking, Caerphilly 

Change existing shared limited waiting and resident permit holders to Resident permit holders only Mon-Sat 8am -8pm. 

• Salop Street on its western side between Nos 2 and 16, a distance of approximately 31 m. 

• Salop Street on its easterly side Between Nos 3 and 15, a distance of approximately 27m. 

• Bartlett Street on its northern side between Nos 11 and 39, a distance of approx. 74m. 

• White Street on its western side between Nos 4 and 28, a distance of approximately 63m. 

• Crescent Road on its northwestern side between Garton and Nga Wharua, a distance of approx. 41 m. 

• Lawrence Street on its southeastern side between 7 and 27, a distance of approx. 50m. 

• Lawrence Street on its southeastern side between 39 and 51, a distance of approx. 34m.

• Bradford street on its westerly side between Nos 2 and 10, a distance of approximately 27m. 

• Bradford Street on its westerly side between Nos 12 and 30, a distance of approximately 52m. 

• Bradford Street on its westerly side between 34 and 52, a distance of approximately 50m. 

• Bradford Street on its westerly side between Nos 54 and 64, a distance of approx. 25m. 

• Ludlow Street on its western side between No 2 and 4, a distance of approximately 11 m. 

• Ludlow Street on its eastern side between Nos 3 and 17, a distance of approx. 38m. 

• Ludlow Street on its easterly side between Nos 23 and 39, a distance of approximately 41m. 

• Rhymney Terrace on its northern side between No 6 and 10, a distance of approximately 25m. 

• Rhymney Terrace on its northern side from a point approx. 8m west of its junction with Bradford (to the side of No 2 Bradford Street) in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 14m. 

• Rhymney Terrace on its northern side between Nos 3 and 5, a distance of approximately 16m. Remove existing resident permit bay to facilitate off road access. 

• King Edward avenue on its southern side outside numbers 8, 9 and 10 for a distance of approximately 30m.

A copy of the draft Order, plans showing the parts of the highway affected and a statement of the traffic authority's reasons for making the Order can be viewed at www.caerphilly.gov.uk/TrafficRegulations Orders and may also be inspected free of charge by appointment at Caerphilly County Borough Council Legal Services, Penallta House, Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, CF82 7PG between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays and public holidays) from 16/09/2026 to 08/10/2026 quoting reference AB.5013479.
