RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN y bydd Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Blaenau Gwent, wrth arfer ei bwerau yn unol â Rheoliadau Gorchmynion Traffig Awdurdodau Lleol (Gweithdrefn) (Cymru a Lloegr) 1996 a Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 yn bwrw ymlaen â’i fwriad i gyflwyno gorchmynion terfyn cyflymder o 40 mya a 50 mya fel y nodir yn yr atodlen i’r hysbysiad hwn, sef:

1. Gosod terfyn cyflymder o 50 mya drwy orchymyn ar hyd y ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 1 i’r hysbysiad hwn.

2. Gosod terfyn cyflymder o 40 mya drwy orchymyn ar hyd y ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 2 i’r hysbysiad hwn.

3. Gosod terfyn cyflymder o 50 mya drwy orchymyn ar hyd y ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 3 i’r hysbysiad hwn.

4. Gosod terfyn cyflymder o 40 mya drwy orchymyn ar hyd y ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 4 i’r hysbysiad hwn.

5. Gosod terfyn cyflymder o 50 mya drwy orchymyn ar hyd y ffordd a bennir yn Atodlen 5 i’r hysbysiad hwn. 

Daw’r Gorchymyn Terfyn Cyflymder 40 mya a 50 mya i rym ar 23 Tachwedd 2026 neu ar y dyddiad y codir ac arddangosir yr arwyddion traffig neu’r marciau ffordd ar y safle a ragnodir gan y Rheoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf, a bydd yn berthnasol i ffyrdd a enwir yn yr atodlen i’r hysbysiad hwn.

Mae’r gorchymyn a map sy’n dangos y ffyrdd yr effeithir arnynt ar gael ar wefan Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Blaenau Gwent.

ROAD AND TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 

(A4048, NEW ROAD/ NEWPORT ROAD, TREDEGAR) 
(40MPH AND 50MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council in exercise of their powers propose that in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 and the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Will proceed with its intention to introduce 40mph and 50 mph speed limit orders as indicated in the schedule to this notice, that being:

1. To impose by Order a speed limit of 50mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice.

2. To impose by Order a speed limit of 40mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice.

3. To impose by Order a speed limit of 50mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 3 to this notice.

4. To impose by Order a speed limit of 40mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 4 to this notice.

5. To impose by Order a speed limit of 50mph on the length of road specified in Schedule 5 to this notice.

The 40mph and 50mph Speed Limit Order will come into operation on 23 November 2026 or on the date that the traffic signs or road markings prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) are erected and displayed on site, whichever is the earlier and will apply to roads named in the Schedule to this notice.

The order and a map showing the affected road are available on the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council website.
