Basingstoke & Deane - Temporary Road Closures due to Half Marathon & 10K

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - VARIOUS ROADS, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE - PHILLIPS LAW BASINGSTOKE HALF MARATHON & 10K

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow the Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon & 10k to take place out on or near the highway.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

1. A339 Hackwood Road between its junction with Venture Roundabout and its junction with Southern Road (09:45-11:00)
2. A339 Hackwood Road between its junction with Venture roundabout and its junction with B3046 Farleigh Road. (09:30-15:30) Access will remain only from Poynings Crescent and the Holiday Inn northbound.
3. B3046 Farleigh Road between its junction with A339 Hackwood Road and its junction with The Avenue. (09:30-15:30)
4. Church Lane between its junction with Station Road and its junction with B3046 Farleigh Road. (09:30-15:30)
5. Hackwood Lane between its junction with Church Lane and its junction with Northgate Lane. (09:30-15:30)
6. Northgate Lane between its junction with Grammarsham Lane and its junction with Hackwood Lane. (09:30-15:30)
7. The Green between its junction with Grammarsham Lane and its junction with Church Lane. (09:30-15:30)
8. Church Lane between its junction with Green Lane and its junction with College Lane. (09:30-15:30)
9. Station Road for its entire length. (09:30-15:30)
10. College Lane between its junction with Church Lane and its junction with Berrydown Lane. (09:30-14:00)
11. Berrydown Lane between its junction with College Lane and its junction with Green Lane. (09:30-14:00)
12. Green Lane between its junction with Berrydown Road and its Church Lane. (09:00-14:00)
13. The Avenue/Grammarsham Lane between B3046 Farleigh Road and its junction with Northgate Lane. (09:30-14:00)
14. Grove Road between its junction with Venture Roundabout and its junction with Whistler Close. (09:30-14:45)
15. Whistler Close for its entire length. (09:30-14:45)
16. Woods Lane between its junction with B3046 Farleigh Road and its junction with Brighton Way. (10:00-14:00)

DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 4th October 2026 between the hours 08:00-15:00 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is taking place.

The temporary road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon & 10k.
