NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U92407, Ballsgate Lane, Aymestrey, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92407, Ballsgate Lane, Aymestrey, near to Cherry Tree Cottage. Grid Ref: 341668/266291.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A4110 onto the B4362 onto the U92411 onto the U92411 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to pole replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
