The East Sussex (C83 Church Street/Wardsbrook Road, Ticehurst) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 No.2
To allow Openreach to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Church Street/Wardsbrook Road – from the junction with B2099 High Street to the junction with C83 Myskyns Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C83 Myskyns Road, Cottenden Road – C214 Bardown Road, Stonegate Road – B2099 Shovers Green, High Street and vice versa.
The Order commenced 17 June 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 22 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.
