Monk Sherborne - Temporary Road Closures due to Cabling Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES –

SALTERS HEATH ROAD & RAMSDELL ROAD,

MONK SHERBORNE,

BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

1. Salters Heath Road between its junction with Priory Link and its junction with Ramsdell Road.

2. Ramsdell Road between its junction with Rookery Farm Lane and its junction with Kiln Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Monk Sherborne Road, A340, A339, Ramsdell Road, Baughurst Road, Stoney Heath, Baughurst Road, Monk Sherborne Road, Pamber Road, Priory Link

DURATION OF ORDER: from 28th September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:30 – 15:30).

The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk 

Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
