THE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY FOR THE COUNTY OF LANCASHIRE THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
FOOTPATH FROM THE REAR OF RIPON ROAD TO ASPEN LANE, OSWALDTWISTLE DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2023
On the 07 April 2025 Lancashire County Council confirmed the above Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the area, by recording a Footpath from a junction with the back street to the rear of Ripon Road in a south easterly direction bounded on either side by garden fences for a distance of 50 metres exiting onto a part of Aspen Lane recorded as Bridleway BW1105300. The total length of the route is 0.05 km and the width varies between 3 metres and 3.5 metres.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at the offices of Hyndburn Borough Council, and at my offices from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00.

The Order took effect on the 07 April 2025, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under Paragraph 11 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
