STATION ROAD, NORTON TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 14th September 2026, the Highway Authority being satisfied that the restrictions are necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which are not attributable to the works.
The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 14th September 2026, is to introduce a temporarily clearway along the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 below and temporarily restrict the right turn specified in Schedule 2 below, at such times as signs may be erected to notify users of the restrictions. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
Schedule 1 - Temporary Clearway
Station Road, Norton - Full length
Calf Fallow Lane, Norton - Full adopted length
Westminster Oval, Norton - From its junction with Calf Fallow Lane in an easterly direction for approximately 54 metres
Schedule 2 - Temporary Right Turn Prohibition Station Road, Norton - From Station Road southbound to B1274 Junction Road westbound
