THE OLDHAM - BRIDLEWAY 159 SADDLEWORTH, STRINESDALE
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2026

The Oldham Borough Council on 17th September 2026 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that part of Bridleway 159 Saddleworth, Strinesdale in between Green Lane and Roebuck Lane.

The alternative route is via Roebuck Lane and Green Lane.

The Order is to be made to allow landowner for agricultural purposes including re-seeding and will be in force for 2 months from 21st September 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
