COMPOSITE OFF-STREET PARKING ORDER 2013
NO.1 (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Pendle intends to make the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling legislation which, if it comes into force will:
1. Add to Schedule 3 (Short Stay) Calder Street Car Park Nelson this will be a
mixed long stay and short stay car park.
2. Add a new plan for Calder Street Car Park Nelson to show the new layout
3. Add to Schedule 2 (Long Stay) Broadway Nelson car park
4. Add a new plan for Broadway Car Park deleting the old signage
5. Add to Schedule 2 (Long Stay) New Brown Street Nelson Car park
6. Add a new plan for New Brown Street Car Park deleting the old signage
Full details are contained in the draft Order which may be inspected at Number 1
Market Street, Nelson, Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to Howard Culshaw Head of Legal & Democratic Services, Market Street, Nelson Lancashire BB9 7LG or by email to
