RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darnau hynny o’r Ffyrdd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Glan Peris a Ffordd Cibyn, Caernarfon o gyffordd Ffordd Wern gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol hyd at bwynt ger Rhif 26 Cae’r Garreg, Caernarfon.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ailwynebu.
Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar Cae’r Garreg a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd ger 2 Cae’r Garreg i deithio mewn cyfeiriad deheuol. Yn y gyffordd gyda Ffordd Maes Barcer, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol, yna de ddwyreiniol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiraid arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar yr 2il o Hydref 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 14 diwrnod.

SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL (UNCLASSIFIED ROADS KNOWN AS GLAN PERIS AND FFORDD CIBYN, CAERNARFON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along those lengths of Unclassified Roads known as Glan Peris and Ffordd Cibyn, Caernarfon from the junction with Ffordd Wern travelling north westerly up to a point by No.26 Cae’r Garreg, Caernarfon.
The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during resurfacing works.
The alternative route is to travel south westerly on Cae’r Garreg and turn left at the junction by 2 Cae’r Garreg to travel southerly. At the junction with Ffordd Maes Barcer, turn left to travel north easterly, then south easterly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 2nd of October, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 14 days.
