(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to Volkerstevin carrying out ground survey investigations (the works) Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along all of footpath no. 536026 between grid references 353184, 492831 and 353394, 493230.
No alternative is available for pedestrians.
The Order will come into operation on 05 October 2026 as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, the order may continue in force for a period of up to six months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
It is expected that the works will take 2 weeks.
