(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (D104/5 & D107/5 Cleughhead, Greenlaw) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 14 September 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 18 September 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D104/5 & D107/5 Cleughhead, Greenlaw on rolling road closures.
The alternative routes are as follows:
(a) for the D104/5; northbound traffic is via the D104/5, A697, B6460, D104/5 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and
(b) for the D107/5; northbound traffic is via the D107/5, A697, D104/5 and D107/5 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
