Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U52229 Norton Rd, Link Footpath F50333 Old Norton Rd to St Peters Dr, Link Footpath F50277 Batsford Rd (side No 21), U52270 Batsford Rd, U52266 Alton Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days between 12 October 2026 and 21 October 2026.

Order made: To close that part of U60436 Service Rd on Worcester Rd from its junction with A38 Worcester Rd for its entire length.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works by WCC.

Alternative route: A38 Worcester Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (16:00-06:00) between 21 September 2026 and 2 October 2026.

Order made: To close that part of U50225 Penbury St from its junction with A38 Droitwich Rd to its junction with A449 Ombersley Rd.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of U53123 St Swithins St from its junction with U53113 Trinity St to its junction with U53112 The Cross and to temporarily suspend article 8 schedule 1 of The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment) Order 1980 to allow two-way traffic on U53115 Queen Street to enable access for businesses and residents for the duration of the works; and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Trinity Street and The Trinity, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1990 to allow two-way traffic on U53113 Trinity Street and U53114 The Trinity to enable access for businesses and residents for the duration of the works.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Persons’ Parking Space on Victoria Avenue, Worcester]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons’ parking space on the following length and side of road in Worcester: Victoria Avenue (East side): From a point 118 metres from the junction with Albert Road for a distance of 6 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
