(C2017 Drayton Road, Drayton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2017 Drayton Rd from its junction with U13601 Barrow Hill Ln to its junction with U13605 Woodrow Ln.

Reason: Drainage work/flood alleviation by WCC.

Alternative route: C2017 Briar Hill, C2186 The Holloway, C2186 Tandy’s Ln, A450 Worcester Rd, B4188 Hackmans Gate Ln, C2017 Drayton Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.

Commencing: 12 October 2026.

(U12132 Franchise Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U12132 Franchise St from its junction with U12131 Talbot St to its junction with U12133 Holman St.

Order made: To close that part of: 1) A449 Chester Rd South including the entire A449 Spennels Valley Roundabout from its junction with U12700 Bernie Crossland Walk to its junction with A449 Hoobrook Roundabout. 2) U12629 Spennels Valley Rd from its junction with A449 Spennels Valley Roundabout to its junction with U12636 Heronswood Rd.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civil works over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: A442 Worcester Rd, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Comberton Rd, U12629 Spennels Valley Rd (part) and vice versa. Diversion Closure 2: A449 Chester Rd South (part), A448 Comberton Rd, A448 Comberton Hill, A451 The Ringway, A442 Worcester Rd and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of U11500 Lickhill Rd from its junction with B4195 Lombard St to its junction with U11521 Moorhall Ln.

Reason: Tree maintenance by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion Southbound: A451 High St, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York St, U11522 New St, U11521 Moorhall Ln. Diversion Northbound: U11519 Park Ave, B4195 Bewdley Rd, B4195 Lombard St.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Alternative route: A442 Bridgnorth Rd, B4189 Shatterford Ln, C2015 Sladd Ln, C2016 Kingsford Ln into Staffordshire, C2130 Beacon Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 8 October 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Chestnut Grove, Kidderminster) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2026

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping at any time on School Keep Clear Markings on the following length of road in Kidderminster:

Chestnut Grove, Kidderminster (north and east sides): From a point 17m south east of its junction with Footpath number FP10621 (leading to Mouse Lane) for a distance of 31m in a south easterly then southerly direction.

From a point 4.6m south of its junction with Footpath number FP10643 for a distance of 26m in a northerly direction.

The Order will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes.

(A4117 Cleobury Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A4117 Cleobury Rd from its junction with A456 Tenbury Rd for a distance of 381 metres in a north westerly direction in both directions.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days between 9 October 2026 and 26 October 2026.
