The City Of Cambridge (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions And Street Parking Places) Order 2022 (Amendment No. 81) Order 20$$

Notice is hereby given that Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above-named Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).

The effect of this Order will be to amend the Milton Road Residents’ Parking Scheme by making mapping corrections, introducing Permit Parking Areas, adding and revoking residents’ parking bays and double yellow lines, and modifying existing restrictions to reflect the scheme as installed.

The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the office of the undersigned by appointment only, during normal office hours or on the website: https://consultation.appyway.com/.

Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be sent in writing to the undersigned, or submitted to us using the https://consultation.appyway.com/portal, or by email to troconsultation.responses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 7th October 2026 quoting reference PR1239.

The City of Cambridge (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2022 (Amendment No.55) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that on 11th September 2026 the Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers the effect of which is to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions to the following lengths of Adams Road:

(a) Northern kerbline –

(i) From a point 6.4m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 47.7m west of that point;

(ii) From a point 69.1m west its junction with Grange Road, to a point 15.2m west of that point;

(iii) From a point 99.3m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 43m west of that point;

(iv) From a point 157.3m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 22.6m west of that point;

(v) From a point 194.9m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 117.6m west of that point;

(vi) From a point 327.5m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 124m west of that point;

(vii) From a point 466.5m west of its junction with Grange Road, to its junction with Wilberforce Road.

(b) Southern kerbline –

(i) From a point 6.4m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 58.5m west of that point;

(ii) From a point 79.9m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 53.7m west of that point;

(iii) From a point 143.7m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 108.9m west of that point;

(iv) From a point 267.7m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 69.8m west of that point;

(v) From a point 342.5m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 33.9m west of that point;

(vi) From a point 378.4m west of its junction with Grange Road, to a point 22.8m west of that point;

(vii) From a point 416.2m west of its junction with Grange Road, to its junction with Wilberforce Road.

A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 17th September 2026 together with a map showing the effects of the Order and a Statement of the Reasons for having made the Order, may be inspected at the office of the undersigned.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 11th September apply to the High Court for this purpose.
