TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4060 WICKWAR ROAD (KINGSWOOD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4060 Wickwar Road at a point approximately 140m west from Kingswood Footpath33 for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for a Network Rail bridge inspection.
The road is expected to be closed from 22:00hrs on 22nd September 2026 to 06:00hrs on 23rd September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401517 MILLEND LANE (NORTH NIBLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401517 Millend Lane Road, from its junction with Pitt Court to its junction with Warend Hill for a distance of approximately 190 metres.
The reason for the closure is for electrical pole works.
The said road is expected to be closed on 21st September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Road from Wortley Road to Alderley, from its junction with Hill Mill Lane to Wotton under Edge footpath 74 for a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 21st September 2026 until 18:00hrs on 22nd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401416 FOP STREET TO HYDEGATE (ULEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401416 Fop Street to Hydegate, from its junction with Uley Footpath 34 to its junction with Coldharbour Farm to Hydegate for a distance of approximately 300 metres. The reason for the closure is for fibre installation works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 5th October 2026 until 18:00hrs on 7th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS CCA23, CCA24 & CCA25 (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths CCA23, CCA24 & CCA25 as described in the schedule below;
Schedule
Public Footpath CCA 23 from its junction with Draycott Crescent extending in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 700 metres to its junction with Restricted Byway CCA 21.
Public Footpath CCA 24 from its junction with Public Footpath CCA 22 extending in a generally northerly direction for approximately 700 metres to its junction with public footpath CCA 25.
Public Footpath CCA 25 from its junction with CCA 24 extending in a generally northerly direction for approximately 400 metres to its junction with Public Footpath CCA 29.
The paths fall within the Parish of Cam in Stroud District and in the Gloucestershire County.
The closure is necessary to protect the public whilst construction works are completed.
The Order will come into force on the 1st October 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 1st April 2027. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
