TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS

(TEMPLE GUITING PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for signing and road marking works.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 24th September 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 25th September 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C328 HIGH STREET

(STOW ON THE WOLD TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C328 High Street Road from its junction with Fosseway to outside of the property known as ‘Fosseway Farm Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 35 metres.

The reason for the closure is for sewerage works.

The road is expected to be closed nightly between 22:00hrs and 05:30hrs from 21st September 2026 until 23rd September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400584 ROAD ADJACENT TO

REDHILL FARM (BROADWELL PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400584 Road Adjacent to Redhill Farm from outside the property known as ‘Red Hill Farm’ to outside the property known as ‘Whispers’ for a distance of approximately 31 metres.

The reason for the closure is for water pipe repair works.

The road is expected to be closed from 21st September 2026 until 23rd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400539 High Street from outside of the property known as ‘Rose Cottage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Dorn Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 33 metres.

The reason for the closure is for sewer works.

The road is expected to be closed from 8th October 2026 until 23rd October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(EBRINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 500505 Nash’s Lane its junction with the Main Road through Ebrington to outside of the property known as ‘the Old Nurseries’ for a distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the closure is for electricity works on behalf of National Grid.

The road is expected to be closed from 5th October 2026 until 8th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

(MORETON IN MARSH TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400536 New Road from its junction with High Street to its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 98 metres.

The reason for the closure is for pole replacement works on behalf of BT Openreach.

The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on 7th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The road is expected to be closed from 2nd October 2026 until 9th October 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
