What is happening?

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C157 HATHEROP ROAD (FAIRFORD TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C157 Hatherop Road from its junction with Mount Pleasant to its junction with Queens Field for a distance of approximately 108 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of BT.

The road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 18th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C180 Cricklade Street from its junction with Ashcroft Road to its junction with Querns Lane for a distance of approximately 142 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works gas service installation works.

The road is expected to be closed from 21st September 2026 until 25th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C146 Ablington Road from its junction with The Street to outside the property known as ‘Disused Pump House’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the closure is for sewer repair works.

The road is expected to be closed from 21st September 2026 until 27th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501466 Towend Farm to Manor Farm Oldbury-on-the-Hill from its junction with The Street to outside the property known as ‘Oldbury Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 657 metres.

The reason for the closure is for signage works.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 23rd September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400880 Coln St Dennis to Calcot Farm Calcot from outside of the property known as ‘Amnis’ to outside of the property known as ‘Higher Barn’ for a distance of approximately 14 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works by Thames Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 6th October 2026 until 8th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C171 County Boundary to High Street from its junction with Ham Lane to its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 147 metres.

The reason for the closure is for Carriageway Patching works.

The road is expected to be closed on 1st October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
