(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (ARMYTAGE WAY, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Armytage Way from its junction with Armytage Road to Wakefield Road for a distance of approximately 125 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Armytage Road, Locksley Road, Wakefield Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(NELSON STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Nelson Street from side of No. 1 Oxford Street to side of No. 2 Oxford Street for a distance of approximately 5 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Derby Street, Park Road, Hanover Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SMITHWELL LANE, HEPTONSTALL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Future Network Solutions, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Smithwell Lane from its junction with Townfield Lane to No. 22 for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Heptonstall Road, Lee Wood Road, Draper Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd September 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(STOCKS LANE, LUDDENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stocks Lane from High Street to Mount Tabor Road for a distance of approximately 1925 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via High Street, Luddenden Lane, Burnley Road, John Naylor Lane, Butts Green Road, Workhouse Lane, Heath Hill Road, Mount Tabor Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th October 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(WINDLE ROYD LANE, WARLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Windle Royd Lane from its junction with Church Bank to Stock Lane for a distance of approximately 70 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Burnley Road, Warley Road, Gibbet Street, Stock Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(CALDER STREET, WEST VALE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Ward & Burke Construction Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Calder Street from its junction with Rochdale Road to Alfred Street for a distance of approximately 71 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 22nd September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24thSeptember 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 05:00.

(HESKETH PLACE, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hesketh Place from No. 4 to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 15 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. Access will be maintained for residents It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30thSeptember 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 &18:00.

(AMISFIELD ROAD, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Amisfield Road from No. 1 to Leeds Road for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25thSeptember 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 &15:00.

(ROOLEY BANKS FOOTPATH TO WOOD CROFT, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Termrin Construction Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Rooley Banks Footpath from Rooley Banks to Wood Croft for a distance of 38 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Broadway. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(NEWLANDS ROAD FOOTPATH, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Termrin Construction Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Newlands Avenue Footpath from The Newlands to Rawson Wood for a distance of 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Newlands Avenue, Rooley Banks, Wood Croft. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st March 2027. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(WOOD CROFT, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Termrin Construction Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wood Croft from No.23 to No. 28 for a distance of approximately 43 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. Access will be available for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st March 2027. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HALIFAX ROAD, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Halifax Road outside Ripponden Junior & Infant School for a distance of approximately 270 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. Halifax Road, Rochdale Road, Turvin Road, Blackstone Edge Old Road, Cragg Road, Burnley Road, Tuel Lane, Wharf Street, West Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

(COPLEY MOUNT, COPLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Copley Mount from its junction with Wakefield Road to No 14 for a distance of approximately 85 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 5th November 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(DANNY LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Danny Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to Ripley Terrace for a distance of approximately 90 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via the unaffected part of Danny Lane, Magson House Road, John Naylor Lane, A646 Burnley Road and vice versa. Access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SOWERBY CROFT LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Croft Lane from its junction with Boggart Lane to North Cliffe for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Spark House Lane, Fall Lane, Copley Valley Road, Hollas Lane, Wakefield Road, Bolton Brow, Wharf Street, Town Hall Street, Bridge Street, Scar Head Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SYKE LANE, LIGHTCLIFFE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by M Group Water Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Syke Lane from Syke Wells to 9 Syke Lane for a distance of approximately 34 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Syke Lane, Northedge Lane, Denholme Gate Road, Bramley Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 5th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th November 2026. (BELGRAVE GARDENS, CLAREMOUNT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Belgrave Gardens from its junction with Belgrave Avenue to No. 3 Belgrave Gardens for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Belgrave Avenue, Bell Street and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Vickerman Street from No. 21 to No. 25 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PIKE END ROAD, RISHWORTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Pike End Road from its junction with Oldham Road to Long Causeway for a distance of approximately 390 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Oldham Road, Rishworth New Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 8th October 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th October 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00.
