What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
PEASCOD PLACE, WINDSOR
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-

Prohibit any person from proceeding along Peascod Place from its junction with Peascod Street southward for a distance of 20 metres.

The alternative route for pedestrians is via Peascod Place, Sun Passage, Charriotts Place, Victoria Street, William Street and Peascod Street.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate new gas connection and as result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order will come into operation from 08.00 hours on Monday 5th October until 18:00 hours on Friday 9th October 2026.
