(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER NO. 2 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of B470 High Street from its junction with The Green to its junction with B470 Windsor Road.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via the B376 The Green, Queens Road and B470 Windsor Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate carriageway patching works, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will come into operation from 19:00 hours on Monday 5th October until 02:00 hours on Tuesday 6th October 2026. The restriction shall apply at such times when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restriction.
