SLATES LANE & COPPYWOOD DRIVE, ILKLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Slates Lane & Coppywood Drive, Ilkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Slates Lane from its junction with Curly Hill to its junction with Coppywood Drive; and in the length of Coppywood Drive from its junction with Slates Lane to a point outside No. 3 Coppywood Drive.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Slates Lane (unaffected section), Hardings Lane, Langbar Road, Denton Road, Carters Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 29th of September 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 4th of November 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
