ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:

B4116 MEREVALE LANE, MEREVALE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from A5 Watling Street rbt to The Common. In addition, a 40mph temporary speed limit will be imposed for the safety of all road users whilst the road is open.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 20.00hrs-06.00hrs weeknights only.

Order Commences: 21 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 2 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: A5, A444, A47, A444, B4114 (Corporation Street, Central Avenue, Abbey Green, Midland Road, Tuttle Hill, Camp Hill Road, Coleshill Road, Ansley Common, Coleshill Road, Nuneaton Road, B4116 (Atherstone Road, Coleshill Road, Bentley Common, The Common) and vice versa.

CHURCH LANE, WISHAW

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to replace damaged telegraph pole.

Order Commences: 21 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 21 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Grove Lane, Ryefield Lane and vice versa.

OLD HOLLY LANE, ATHERSTONE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to connect onto existing main.

Order Commences: 21 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 25 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Old Holly Lane, Rowland Way, Sheepy Road and vice versa.

BIRMINGHAM ROAD, COLESHILL

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works to repair/replace defective manhole frame and covers.

Order Commences: 20 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 20 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, High Street, Lichfield Road and vice versa.

WHITTINGTON LANE, GRENDON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for vegetation removal.

Order Commences: 19 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 2 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Watling Street, A5, Old Holly Lane, Whittington Lane and vice versa.

Temporary Traffic Orders:

HAUNCH LANE, LEA MARSTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: New water connection works. Order Commences: 6 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Kingsbury Road, A446, Lichfield Road, Newlands Lane, Hams Lane, Church Lane, Haunch Lane and vice versa.

C7 MARKET STREET, FAIRFIELDS HILL & DORDON ROAD, POLESWORTH

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows; Fairfields Hill closed from The Gullett to Dordon Road/Birchmoor Road 3-4 October & 28-30 October, Fairfields Hill/Market Street closed from The Gullett to Grendon Road/Tamworth Road 10-11 October, 17-18 October & 24-27 October 2026, Fairfields Hill/Dordon Road closed from Potters Lane to Polesworth School entrance 31 October -1 November 2026.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs.

Order Commences: 3 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 1 November 2026.

Access & Diversion: For closures between Tanworth Road/Grendon Road and Birchmoor Street/Dordon Road use Tamworth Road, Hermitage Lane, Cockspur Street and Birchmoor Road. For closure between Potters Lane to Polesworth School entrance use Potters Lane, Chaytor Road, Bardon View Road, Whitehouse Road and Dordon Road.

HURLEY COMMON, KINGSBURY

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Mains renewal works.

Order Commences: 7 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 4 November 2026.

Access & Diversion: Tamworth Road, Baxterley Road, Main Road, The Orchard, Windmill Lane, Wigston Hill, Atherstone Lane, Atherstone Road, Knowle Hill, Brick Kiln Lane and vice versa.

LOWER HOUSE LANE, BADDESLEY ENSOR

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to renew pole.

Order Commences: 7 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 7 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: Lower House Lane, Gypsy Lane, A5, Watling Street, Trinity Road, Edge Hill, Tamworth Road, Boulters Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Quantum Traffic Management, Tel: 01724 786286.

HILL TOP, BADDESLEY ENSOR

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for joint holes and trenching in footway for supply alteration.

Order Commences: 5 October 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 9 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: St Nicholas Estate, Boot Hill, Hill Top and vice versa.

Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 07538 318902.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
