Three Arch Road (D355) Redhill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Three Arch Road (D355) Redhill as extends from its junction with (A23) Horley Road to its junction at its roundabout with (D355) Canada Avenue and (D355) Royal Earlswood Park. Alternative Route: Three Arch Road, Masons Bridge Road, Axes Lane, Green Lane, Dayseys Hill, Rookery Hill, Chapel Road, Weatherhill Road, Smallfield Road, (B2036) Balcombe Road, (A23) Balcombe Road, (A23) Brighton Road, (A23) Bonehurst Road, (A23) Brighton Road, and (A23) Horley Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate major maintenance works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 days, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 October 2026. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. 

Access for residents and emergency service vehicles will be maintained when and if it is safe to do so, access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route.

Station Road (D349) Horley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Station Road (D349) Horley.

Alternative route – Station Approach, Victoria Road and Balcombe Road, or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate a new service connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 October 2026 for 8 days, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained by road plates. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Haxted Road (C87) Lingfield
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Haxted Road (C87) Lingfield as extends from its junction with Bowerland Lane (D408) to the access for “Puttenden Manor”. 

Alternative route – Haxted Road, Lingfield road, B2026 (Mont St Aignan Way, High Street and Mill Hill), B2028 (Marsh Green Road, Moor Lane, Racecourse Road, Town Hill, High Street and Plaistow Street), B2029 (Godstone Road) and Lingfield Common Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate pole testing and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 October 2026 for 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Eastbourne Road (A22) South Godstone
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Eastbourne Road (A22) South Godstone as extends from the access for Ragan Mews to the access for “Lagham Manor”.

Alternative route – A22 (Eastbourne Road, Woodcock Hill and London Road), A264 (Copthorne Road, Snow Hill, Copthorne Common and Copthorne Way), A2011 (Crawley Avenue), A23 (London Road), A217 (Reigate Road, Dovers Green Road, Cockshot Hill, Bell Street), A25 (High Street, London Road, Castlefield Road, Church Street, Bancroft Road (anti-clockwise only), Reigate Road, Hatchlands Road, Station Road, Queensway and London Road), A23 (Princess Way), A25 (Redstone Hill, Nutfield Road, High Street, Bletchingley Road, Castle Street, High Street, Godstone Road, Bletchingley Road, Godstone Green (anti-clockwise only), High Street and Oxted Road) and A22 (Godstone By-Pass), or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to enable Network Rail to facilitate a bridge inspection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 October 2026 for 1 night, between the hours of 10.00pm and 6.00am. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.
