THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 8 HARLASTON PARISH
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 7/7/26 made an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 8 Harlaston Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 7 Harlaston Parish for approximately 2426m.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the excavation and installation of pipework.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and
unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 14/7/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
This closure is expected to last for 40 days.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/9/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles along:
Thorpe Ln, Thorpe Constantine. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB151286549. The Order will come into operation on 21/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by 2/10/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the main installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles along:
Syerscote Ln, Haunton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=GB151288431. The Order will come into operation on 5/10/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/10/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the main installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
