LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(LINCOLN – HAMPTON STREET) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) AMENDMENT ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lincolnshire County Council has made an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:
• A mandatory school keep clear marking outside the entrance to the school. This will be operational Monday-Friday 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm.
• No Loading and No Waiting Monday-Friday 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm east from property number 5 Hampton Street to the 30mph speed limit.
Exemptions are included which will permit the maintenance of the roads, and works in connection with the supply of gas, electricity, water and telecommunications apparatus.
The Order will come into operation on 21st September 2026 and a copy of the Order and a plan showing the lengths of road concerned with a Statement of Reasons can be requested.
These documents can be supplied to you by emailing TRO@lincolnshire.gov.uk or calling our Customer Service Centre on 01522 782070 during office hours. You may also be able to view these documents at the offices of Lincoln City Council, during normal office hours.
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks after 15th September 2026 make application to the High Court for this purpose.
