Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 16 Medi 2026, sy’n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio Gwynfryn Avenue, y Rhyl yn Sir Ddinbych, sy’n ymestyn i gyfeiriad y de ddwyrain o bwynt 40 metr i’r dwyrain o’r gyffordd â Brookes Avenue am bellter o tua 18 metr.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn caniatáu i Network Plus wneud gwaith trydanol.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y llwybr amgen ar hyd Gwynfryn Avenue a Brookes Avenue.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 5 Hydref 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf.

Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 9 Hydref 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

GWYNFRYN AVENUE, RHYL

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 16 September 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using Gwynfryn Avenue, Rhyl in the County of Denbigh which extends south eastwards from a point 40 metres east of its junction with Brookes Avenue for a distance of approximately 18 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate electrical works by Network Plus.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be via Gwynfryn Avenue and Brookes Avenue.

The Order is effective from 5 October 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest.

The works are expected to last approximately until 9 October 2026.
