TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC BARNETBY ROAD, HESSLE (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Barnetby Road, Hessle (between numbers 1 and 5) commencing Monday 5 October 2026 between 08.00 hours and 17.00 hours to excavate and repair a sewer to 1.8m deep.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 9 October 2026.
There is no alternative route for traffic affected by this closure.
Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency services only.
