Waverley Road - Introduce A Road Closure For Installation Of A New Electrical Connection
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (WAVERLEY ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Waverley Road, Swinton, M27 4JB.
The Order is necessary for the installation of a new electrical connection.
The order is due to come into operation on Friday 9th October 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Thursday 15th October 2026.
The diversion routes are via Bolton Road - Beverley Road/Fairway - Highfield Drive, vice versa.
