Sorby Road - Introduce A Road Closure For Carriageway Resurfacing And Road Marking Works
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (SORBY ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Sorby Road, Irlam, M44 5BA.
The Order is necessary for carriageway resurfacing and road marking works. The order is due to come into operation on Sunday 11th October 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier
The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 18th October 2026.
