NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Various Roads in Cheshire East
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Mill Lane, Blakenhall – For the full extent
Wrinehill Road, Blakenhall/Hough/Doddington and District – From the junction of Mill Lane to the junction of Cobbs Lane
Chorlton Lane, Weston and Crewe Green – For the full extent
Cobbs Lane, Hough and Chorlton – From the junction of Pit Lane to the junction of Newcastle Road
Hunsterson Road, Hatherton – From the junction of Lodge Lane to the junction of Bridgemere Lane
Bridgemere Lane, Hatherton – From the junction of Hunsterson Road to the entrance of Bearcat Fields
Yew Tree Lane, Doddington and District – From the junction of London Road to Bridgemere Farm
Checkley Lane, Doddington and District – For the full extent
Dingle Lane, Doddington and District – From the junction of London Road to the entrance of Hollins Farm
Church Lane, Doddington and District – For the full extent
Pewit Lane, Doddington and District – For the full extent
For specific dates and diversion routes please visit one network This order will come into operation on Monday 5th of October 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 21st of December 2026

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Nantwich Road, Wrenbury
Notice Is Hereby Given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Nantwich Road, Wrenbury – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Swanley Lane, Springe Lane, Nantwich Road, Wrenbury Road, Cholmondeley Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Tuesday 22nd September and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 5th October.
