What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(B383 BROOMHALL LANE, EDEN PLACE & CEDAR DRIVE (PART), SUNNINGDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURN) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B383 Broomhall Lane in southward direction from its junction with Sheridan Grove to its junction with A30 London Road and prohibit any vehicle from making a right turn onto the B383 Broomhall Lane from Eden Place and Cedar Drive.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via B383 Station Road, B383 Silwood Road, A329 London Road, A329 Blacknest Road, A30 London Road and B383 Broomhall Lane.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the said road, namely fibre cable ducting works and there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation between 09:00 hours and 16:00 on Sunday 4th October and again between 09:00 hours and 16:00 on Sunday 11th October 2026. Prohibition of driving will be in place when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
